Our Minister for “Service Projects”, Jason McCarthy gave us a short rundown on how the Rotary club of Geraldton, Radio Auction raised nearly $30,000. An excellent outcome in the current financial climate and represents terrific support to Rotary by the community. Well done to the Rotary club of Geraldton. For the 2nd week in a row, PP Hugh won the raffle/cards. The probability of winning 2 weeks in a row is pretty low ( about 1 in 650), let alone winning with the same card, the 2 of spades in consecutive weeks ( I think about 1 chance in about 2 million). We might have to retire that card if it wins again. Well done Hugh, don’t forget to pick up your wine. |
