Next Saturday 16th January an attempt will be made to fill 1000 sandbags at Leanes Trench.

The attempt will commence at 3.00pm and anyone who is available will be most welcome to join. This appeal will go out through the community so hopefully will get good support, but, as the saying goes, "many hands make light work". 

Once the sandbags are filled there will be a barbecue for all the participants and a time of fellowship. Once again this will allow our community to show how we can get behind these projects and further develop the cause.

The site will be well signposted and President Lew will provide more detail at this weeks meeting.

Please give this request some thought and show what we can do when called upon.
